Danish Architecture Center (DAC) is Denmark’s national center for architecture and a cultural destination for anyone who wants to experience Danish architecture and design at a world-class level. DAC is located at BLOX on Copenhagen’s waterfront, an iconic building designed by the world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas.

Here, you can explore exhibitions that bring you closer to the buildings, ideas, and design icons Denmark is famous for—and to the architecture that shapes our cities, everyday life, and communities. DAC offers new perspectives on the classics as well as insights into future solutions, with sustainability and the green transition at the core.

Round off your visit with lunch at the DAC Café, a coffee break on the rooftop terraces overlooking the harbor and city spires, or a visit to the Design Shop featuring books and curated gifts. Just outside, the free playground at BLOX invites younger visitors to play and explore creatively.

DAC is a place that inspires you to experience, understand, and talk about architecture—long after you’ve left.
