The Copenhagen City Archives collect and preserve archival material from the City of Copenhagen and make it available to the public. The Copenhagen City Archives holds an extensive collection of archival material on the city’s history, which you can use either in our reading room or online through our many digital services. 

The collection contains 45 shelf kilometres of paper and several hundred terabytes of digitally created data.

The Copenhagen City Archives is also a gathering place for many communities for those who love Copenhagen and its history.
