This autumn, Nikolaj Kunsthal’s Lower Gallery is transformed into a cosmic listening station as Christian Skjødt Hasselstrøm takes over the soaring space with Meridians. The exhibition unfolds at the intersection of sound, visual art and natural science. THORVALDSEN FOR FAMILIES – EXPLORE TOGETHER
Thorvaldsens Museum
Pick up a free drawing and activity booklet packed with fun and creative challenges. The booklet is illustrated by Daniel Frost. You can also join the art treasure hunt and put your detective skills to the test! Can you find the palm, the arrow, or the lion? Are they hiding in the ceiling paintings or in a relief on the wall.
Ask for your copy at the ticket desk, where you can also borrow coloured pencils to take with you around the museum.

Go on a Viking raid, play in a Copenhagen backyard, cook in the medieval kitchen, wield the Viking sword, sell and buy goods at the market in Pakistan, write on the blackboard in the 100-year-old classroom and rebuild the castle wall.

Free introduction to the museum's exhibitions
Danish Jewish Museum
When visiting the museum, you’re invited on a free introduction to the permanent exhibitions and the architecture of the building. You will gain insight into 400 years of Danish Jewish history and an understanding of the thoughts behind the museum’s spectacular architecture.
The introduction does not require registration and is free after purchasing an admission ticket. You purchase your admission ticket online or in the museum shop on the day.
The introductions start on June 16 and continue until August 30.
Step into the world of the Vikings

Join the English guided tour and get closer to the Viking Age. On this tour, you will explore gold treasures, ancient skeletons and everyday objects from Viking life. Meet the Vikings at home, at sea and on their journeys across the world.
